The Write Stuff Coach can help your student with the following tests:

TACHS – Students in the eighth grade during the 2022-2023 school year wishing to apply for fall 2023 admission into Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of New York,  the Diocese of Brooklyn/Queens and the Diocese of Rockville Centre Long Island are eligible to take the TACHS.

The test is designed to measure school aptitude and scholastic achievement in Reading, Mathematics, and Language.

ISEE:  The ISEE is the Independent School Entrance Examination, and it’s used for admission to private middle schools and high schools.

The ISEE is designed to measure Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and Mathematics Achievement.

SSAT:  The SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test) is a required entrance exam at many independent schools.

The SSAT is designed to measure Verbal, Reading Comprehension, and Quantitative (Math) skills.

Plan to start tutoring 3 – 6 months prior to taking these tests.
